Outdoor & Sporting Goods
We are a Colorado studio, and a good share of the team spends weekends in the mountains testing what we build. We design electronics and hard goods for cold, wet, sandy and violent environments, and test them in the real thing as well as the chamber.
What makes it hard
The problems we solve most often
- 01Glove-friendly interfaces and cold-weather batteries
- 02Weight reduction without giving up toughness
- 03Sealing against snow, sweat and river crossings
- 04Field testing at altitude and in sub-zero conditions
Product types we build
Services involved
Case study
A beacon housing that survives a 30-meter tumble
Redesign of an avalanche-safety transceiver housing for impact, cold-temperature performance and glove-friendly controls.
